Take me to a better place... One without hatred. I wonder, could I be fated To live a life of fear? Struck by sharp swords. Scarred through piercing shots. Violence can keep your mouth shut. Promises can be easily revoked, Love lost through a lack of hope. I want to be the one Who can survive the quicksand, Hold onto the ones I love, To not judge when I don't understand. Living in fear can keep you quiet, But much is lost when the world stays silent.

Life is a battleground. Numerous twists and turns, Unsettled, Uncertain… One wonders if conflicts can truly be resolved. Sitting on a park bench, I contemplate meaning. A sentimental feeling washes over me. Will I ever be satisfied? I stand my course I refuse to backdown, Regardless of the outcome.
